As an IT Implementation colleague for the Application Development team you will have the opportunity to be analytical, inquisitive, and constantly channel your problem-solving mindset through analyzing, mapping, testing, and debugging our system and the underlying data that supports our system. You will be in charge of completing deliverables to meet the client’s highest expectations while learning about benefits plans, our system, and supporting tools. You will get to do all of this while interacting and working with colleagues in primarily virtual setting.
These Developer Analyst/ Sr Tech Lead opportunities are aligned to our Application Development (App Dev) group whose primary function is to build, test and deploy new code and requires knowledge of Angular.
Working from specifications and pre-established guidelines, the Developer Analyst designs and builds quality solutions meeting the stated functional and technical requirements to be ready for the client’s production environment. These positions require the ability to synthesize deep and broad requirements and data into automated solutions supported by our systems and tools. They also require the ability to think critically as well as be able to pay attention to details.
The Sr Tech Lead role is accountable for ensuring the completion of deliverables for the group or team and also requires extensive skills using Angular for developing solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Build quality and high-performing functionality primarily using Angular
Develop new functionality on existing software applications, web properties, and mobile applications. Additionally, enhancing online reports and dashboards.
Participate on an energetic team on a rapid, agile development schedule, working closely and directly with business constituents
Support the deployment of applications to Production environments
Provide production environment development support for applications in use by the business
All other responsibilities as assigned
Angular knowledge (ideally 2+ years of Developer experience)
Advanced mathematical and critical thinking skills
Sound analytical problem-solving and documentation skills
Proficient in excel and knowledge of software development life cycle
Experience in data and foundation analysis
Experience in creating/executing quality assurance test plans with conditional logic
Effective written and oral communication
Ability to translate technical to everyday language
Strong ability to learn through formal and on the job training
Experience in the benefits administration industry
MS Access and/or Informatica experience
OMNI databases and file experience
Prior experience thriving in a remote work environment
A relevant 4 year degree or equivalent work experience.
