WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a member of the Financial Information Management Team, you will be a key participant in supporting technical and analytical tasks for various Data Models and ETL processes between our financial data warehouse and various financial applications such as Hyperion Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services (EPBCS), Hyperion Profitability and Cost Management Cloud Services (PCMCS) as well as Oracle Data Relationship Manager (DRM). The ideal candidate will provide operational support within the finance applications group as well as perform all other related tasks, such as:
• Provide technical oversight of the monthly data load process including performing root cause analysis of data reconciliation issues, maintaining and updating existing ETL processes, and performing code fixes as needed
• Lead design sessions on new enhancement requests, facilitate cross-functional discussions and ensure alignment on approach from both technical and functional stakeholders
• Continuously look to improve data load processes and performance through enhancement and automation efforts
• Support quality control and maintenance of data load process for multi-dimensional models such as EPBCS and PCMCS
• Provide Oracle DRM coverage and backup to existing DRM administrator
• In coordination with DRM admin, leverage Oracle DRM to support alignment of master data across Oracle EPM systems and support testing, validation, and deployment of metadata changes as needed
• Lead development tasks on various road map activities and be a contributing participant during the decision-making process
• In coordination with various team members enhance / update the backup and recovery strategy while also ensuring the current processes is reliable and error proof
• Assist with updates / maintenance of existing ETL processes utilizing various tool such as ODI / FDMEE as well as updating SQL queries
• Enhance and support automation activities utilizing existing technical capabilities and third-party tools
• Use industry standards to ensure code version controls are followed during object updates / code correction (e.g. web forms, business rules and calc scripts)
• Assist and provide technical support on issues, to ensure proper root cause analysis and quick remediation
• Collaborate closely with the architect and other development teams, vendors and stakeholders throughout Agile design, development, implementation and operations of both infrastructure and business mappings

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• BS/BA degree, preferably in computer science or related field; or business administration, or mathematics. Experience in data analysis and database architecture, maintenance, and support
• 7+ years IT experience, including 5+ years in ELT/Data Integration for BI
• Experience in the development and support of business applications in a commercial IT setting, or in consulting
• Strong Knowledge of multi-dimensional models is preferred
• Advanced background in SQL (e.g. SQL Server and/or Oracle, including T-SQL and/or PL/SQL), MV’s, and analytic functions
• Experience with data integration process flow as well as various ETL tools such as FDMEE, ODI preferred
• Strong ETL Experience. Knowledge of Star Schema / Snowflake concepts is preferred
• Experience with Oracle EPM products (Planning, HFM, DRM) is preferred
• Experience in all aspects of Agile SDLC, and end to end participation in a project lifecycle

YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will work with a Boston and New Delhi based teams supporting enterprise performance management (EPM) systems and master data management. You’ll sit within the broader Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) team which includes two additional pillars which support Accounting Systems and Business Intelligence & Reporting. As part of the EPM team, you will be supporting finance team members across all BCG offices.
