WHAT YOU'LL DO

As Lead Windows Platform Engineer II in the OS Now agile squad, you will be a subject matter expert in a range of technologies and processes related to enterprise client computing.

  • You will provide advanced investigative support for BCG’s standard applications and endpoints.
  • Assist in the delivery of new technologies that support and delight the workforce.
  • Provide investigation and resolution for complex client related incidents, including, but not limited to blue screens, application crashes and performance optimization.
  • Help to create standards and best practices.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving, you pay attention to the details and get to the root causes.
  • Articulating technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Lateral thinking, identifying opportunities to mitigate issues pending final solutions.
  • Stakeholder management – interfacing with internal staff at all levels, driving vendors to engage and act.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Talented at windows performance and stability optimization
  • Experienced with low level analytics tools such as Windows Performance Toolkit, Windbg, perf mon, procmon, driver verifier and enterprise tools such as systrack, aternity, or Splunk
  • Excellent experience of the Microsoft stack – Windows 10 through Server, Office and active directory
  • Expertise in scripting Powershell, python
  • Expert Skills with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, System Registry, and WMI
  • Experience with SCCM CB architecture and administration; Intune experience a plus

YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will work with team members in Asia, Europe, and the United States supporting a global user community. Flexible work hours will be required.
