Description
This Principal Cyber Security – HBSS/McAfee/Trellix role is responsible for protecting the customer’s information systems and networks from potential cyber-attacks through HBSS/McAfee/Trellix tools as a member of a Systems Health Monitoring team. The Cyber Security Engineer must display an excellent understanding of technology and utilization of ePolicy Orchestrator and other related HBSS/McAfee/Trellix tools in on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments. You will also work directly with Team leads, developers and operations personnel throughout a DevSecOps life cycle both on policy and technical implementation of technologies.
Primary Responsibilities:

Plan, implement, manage, monitor, upgrade, and troubleshoot security measures provided via HBSS/McAfee/Trellix tools for the protections of information systems and networks

Automate repeatable tasks in a consultative role (within multiple customer on-premise, on-prem, and hybrid environments)

Formulate systems and methodologies as well as respond to security related events and assist in remediation efforts of cyber security incidents (system and/or network breaches, malware attacks)

Coordinate, and monitor log analysis for our managed services offerings, to ensure customer policy and security requirements are met.
Basic Qualifications:
-
Requires BS degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience, or a MS and 10+ years or prior relevant experience.

Active TS/SCI with polygraph

In-depth experience with implementing, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting end-point security HBSS/McAfee/Trellix tools (McAfee/Trellix Agent, ePolicy Orchestrator, Endpoint Security, Policy Auditor, Agent Handler)

Experience with installing, updating, and troubleshooting Microsoft Server operating systems and Microsoft SQL Server on McAfee servers

Experience with on-prem and cloud environments

Experience with automation (e.g., Ansible, CloudFormation)

Strong attention to detail with analytical mind, outstanding problem-solving skills

US Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on customer systems

Experience with structured analysis and design methodologies

Experience with incident detection, incident response and forensics activities

Experience with Cloud Computing Technologies/Amazon Web Services (AWS)

AWS Certification
-
Experience with additional security tools and processes such as VPN, Webinspect, Appdetective , and Rapid7

Experience with SAFe Agile Framework
Pay Range:
Pay Range $118,300.00 – $182,000.00 – $245,700.00
