Senior Engineer Process Control Engineering
Monday â Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Summary of Duties:
Develop and implement control solutions to drive automation of 24×7
manufacturing process operation in a highly automated and complex foundry.
Perform problem identification, modeling, programming, testing, deployment,
continual improvement, documentation and testing. Provide operational support,
including troubleshooting with corrective actions, of front-end wafer fab factory
applications, primarily AMAT E3 software, deployed in manufacturing. Work
closely with external partners in Manufacturing Execution System (MES),
Statistical Process Control (SPC) software, Recipe Management (RMS),
Manufacturing Specification Management (ECN), Graphical User Interface
(GUI), Databases, Business Process Management (BPM), Real time Dispatch
and Scheduling (RTD), Material Control System (MCS), and Reporting Systems.
Work closely with internal customers in Process and Equipment Engineering to
model and provide control automation for manufacturing processes.
Masterâs Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Control
Systems Engineering. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelorâs Degree in Electrical
Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Control Systems Engineering plus two
(2) years of experience in the job offered or as a Process Control Engineer or
related position in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Position requires knowledge of or experience in Matlab. Requires knowledge of
or experience in C++ or Objective C. Requires knowledge of or experience
using advanced mathematics, including advanced linear algebra, data analysis,
and statistics. Requires knowledge of or experience in control systems, signals,
modeling, and optimization methods. Requires knowledge of or experience in
Microsoft Applications, including Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge or
experience can be gained concurrently as part of a graduate education
curriculum, co-op, or internship.
