Unit Description:

Sodexo has an exciting new opening for a Senior Manager, IT Service Delivery with our Information Systems and Technology team. This is a virtual position with the preferred candidate residing in the Eastern Time Zone 

    

The Senior Manager, IT Service Delivery will successfully direct the activities of one or more technical groups within IS&T. Responsible for the strategic direction of the department, including change management processes. Functions include the management of enterprise system monitoring, job scheduling, testing, quality control and system administration. Develops and reports on quality processes. May be responsible for managing software licenses. Also responsible for budget administration, personnel evaluations and the hiring of qualified personnel.  

    

The successful candidate will:   

  • Oversee day to day operations of the 24×7 Network Operations Center.    
  • Work with IT Colleagues to ensure successful service transition of new applications and projects through the operational readiness process  
  • Act as IT Operations liaison for Global Strategic initiatives that impact NorAm applications and resources  
  • Create and maintain a communication mechanism to ensure that stakeholders are well-informed of IT Operations activities and business impacts  
  • Ensures the accurate tracking of application availability to the service quality reporting program in order to effectively communicate the health of our systems   
  • Responsible to oversee execution of job scheduling, file transfer management, financial close processing. This will require additional hours or adjusting the work schedule to align with financial close.  
  • Oversee IT operations processes in line with well-established industry best practices for incident management and Problem Management, including overseeing root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.  
  • Oversee high volume print operations to ensure business needs are met, including coordination of staffing, overseeing supplier support agreements through collaboration with key business stakeholders  
  • Represent IT Operations in the project management processes including Design tollgate, Go / No-go (operational readiness)  
  • Recommend and implement continuous process improvement initiatives for all aspects of the IT Operations function

  • Basic Education Requirement – Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience  
  • Basic Management Experience – 5 years  
  • Basic Functional Experience – 5 years of experience in IT operations or infrastructure  
  • Excellent communication and written skills   
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills   
  • Strong project management skills  
  • Experience working with Ivanti and/or AutoSys highly desired  
  • Familiarity working with ticketing systems  
  • ITIL Certification highly desired
