As a Software Engineer at PREMIER, you will be working with relatively small, multi-disciplinary team to develop a variety of software solutions for our manufacturing clients. Applications range from standalone desktop applications to large-scale enterprise web/database applications to data collection applications that interface with plant-floor automation equipment.
Depending on the project requirements and your skillset/experience, you could be working on a small team of 1-2 or on a larger team up to 10 engineers. Projects typically range from a few weeks up to 6 months. On some projects, you will also be a part of the project commissioning team that goes onsite to the client. This allows you to see the “fruits of your labor” while also getting to experience unique manufacturing environments such as robotics, automotive assembly, hummus packaging, and even whiskey making.
Based on your capabilities and interest, there will be opportunities to learn new skills and technologies as well as advance within the company .
- BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience focused on software development
- Extensive experience with .NET Framework
- Extensive experience with Database Applications (SQL Server preferred)
- Experience with C# .NET Core MVC
- Experience with Vue.js or equivalent)
- Experience with SignalR
Nice to Have
- Experience with OPC UA
- Experience with 3rd party web controls (DevExtreme or equivalent)
- Basic knowledge of PLC tag structures and communications
- Familiarity with working in a manufacturing environment
